That I want to be

Ever watch the movie called "love actually"? It may be kind of a "chick-flick" but it's also one of my favorites. There are many different plots all tangled together, and yet seperate, just like we live our lives. My favorite is the best friends part in the story. It's actually a small part, but it's amazing. It starts off at his best friends wedding, where his friend is getting married to Kiera Knightly(lucky bastard). As they kiss and start walking out of the church, from ontop the balcony, they hear to their surprise a chior singing to them. As they turned surprised they realize that the groom's best friend planned it out. It doesn't end there though, and different intervals they realize he snuck in an entire brass section in as guests.
It takes awhile through the movie to realize that he stays away from the bride, almost snubbing her. At first it's thought that he hates her for stealing his friend, or he thinks she isn't good enough for him. Towards the end of the movie, he explains in a creative way that he is actually in love with her, that is why he stayed away. He was the best man at a wedding for the women he loved. That takes a friend, a true friend to watch him marry the women of his dreams.
I am not the best person in the world. I am not even close to being perfect, or even normal, but that's the type of friend I strive to be. Even if it splits me apart, I will be there for you. I am always going to be behind you guarding your back, or in front of you, just guarding you in general. Whatever you choose to do, if I am your friend and I can help, you can count on me to be there for you. All you have to do is ask.
That is the type of friend I want to be.

Since I am a 'Guy', I dont watch movies like that.  But if I did, I would agree with you.  And also say the saddest vignette was the Woman with the Brother, and the most Romantic was the Writer and Aurelio.  And the best scene, the pond!
