whats a teen supposed to do?
Published on February 23, 2004 By ISOL In Blogging
I just recently decided to apply for a higher paying job at a local water park. As of now I work as a bagger at a local grocery market, where the pay is low, but the co-workers and the managers are great. I decided to risk it all to see how the new job goes, and I hope that the pay ( since it is my pay plus another half of my salary) will make the switch worthwhile. I feel decidely lousy jumping out on my boss, but he will get two weeks notice and I really don't want to burn any bridges behind me.
My father has taught me loyalty in everything will be reward, even if not tangible or instantly. I have stuck with that my entire life and now I know not where I stand. Should I feel guilty about switching jobs if I feel my efforts are underpayed where I am at? I have already commited and am anxious to see how it goes. Should I feel guilty or justified.

Slightly bewildered
Sincerely yours Tim Lyons
